About Mac King:

Born on 2 December 1959, Mac lived and raised in Kentucky. It will not exaggerate to say that, the magic was in the blood of Mac because both of his grandfathers (Elwood Huffman and Pax King) were keen amateur magicians. Mac gain interest in magic at very early age, he earned his first remuneration at the age of ten, when he performed his first magic show at the birthday party of his friend. Apart from magic, he was also a bright student too, definitely magic was his passion but he never showed negligence toward study so he accomplished his graduation with Magic and Anthropology ( It is a dual degree in Magic and Anthropology) from Macalester College in St. Paul.

The professional career of Mac was never so easy while interviewing with a TV channel in the USA, he shares his experience and learnings from life. He saw plenty of ups and down and encountered many challenges. After graduation in 1981 from Macalester College,  King took his show on the road where he eventually headlined at every major comedy club in the United States. While performing, King met his future wife Jennifer, where she was a volunteer from the audience. They married in Louisville, Kentucky in 1985.

The year 1990 was the turning point of his career when he made his first television appearance on NBC-TV’s “The World’s Greatest Magic Shows”. After that Mac did many magic shows in clubs and casinos of the USA and with incessant toil and dedication, he set his own path in magic and comedy. In 2002, King took the stage at Harrah’s Las Vegas, where he now performs “The Mac King Comedy Magic Show” twice daily, Tuesday through Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m.

Since 1981, the entire journey of Mac was amazing and incredible. Due to his unique idea and offbeat magic tricks he got many awards and praise not only from the USAbut also from all over the globe. King’s awards and accolades include “Funniest Act in MagicToday” by Magic Magazine in 2008, “Best Comedy Magician” 2007 World Magic Awards, and “Magician of the Year” in 2004 by the world-famous Magic Castle, Home of the Academy of Magical Arts.  In the year 2004 and 2008, king named “Favorite Male Las Vegan” and “Entertainer of the Year” respectively.

This is a 75 minutes popular entertaining show and perfect for friends, family, and kids. There is no place for vulgarity and adult jokes in the show. During the 75 minutes, Mac shows incredible magic tricks, illusion and do a lot of fun with the live audience, which leaves them amused and amazed. King use unusual animals in his tricks like goldfish as well as a white guinea pig. The audience remains shocked when King swallowed a Carrot and split out a goldfish. These are the only sample of magical fun that King brings to the stage on a nightly basis.

King host his show at the main showroom at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino. This entire arrangement is spectacular and the venue provides easy access to King to interact with the audience in the show. There are comfortable chairs in the VIP area and tables as well as booths for patrons. In brief, there is no lack of entertainment when you are in Mac King Comedy Magic show.
