Love Las Vegas is a Beatles tribute and truly a gem, as it is easily one of the best shows in Las Vegas. With the merging of Beatles music and impressive acrobatics, Cirque du Soleil created another smash hit. Love premiered at the Mirage in 2006.
Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté was a personal friend of Beatles member, George Harrison. This visually stunning show was in fact a collaboration of greats. Sir George Martin and his son, Giles Martin, created a soundscape of Beatles music for the production and the two are actually the musical directors for the show. The show Director, Dominic Champagne, aimed to create a rock n roll poem with this performance. There are original Beatles recordings, using the master tapes at Abbey Road studios, played throughout. The TV monitors play a history of not only the band, but a history of the times.
The Beatles tribute show is a rather psychedelic journey, utilizing both the visually stunning performances and the TV montiors. The history of the Beatles is told through 30 of the groups songs played throughout. It’s an inspiring and uplifting performance that transcends time. If you’re a huge Beatles fan you will love this show. If you’re a minor Beatles fan, you will love this show. It’s a spectacular performance.
The theater is amazing. It holds just over 2,000 guests and has 360-degree seating. There is not a bad seat in the house and the farthest is only 98 feet from the stage. If you’re up higher you will actually get to see something that others lower down will not. Front row seats are great, but in this case, back row seats may in fact be greater.
There are 6,341 speakers in the theater and you will notice the great quality as you will feel sound vibrating from all around you even reverberating within you. It’s truly a psychedelic experience. Each seat has three speakers per seat. Two are behind your head in the headrest and there is one in the seat in front of you.

I enjoyed the collective nature of this show. Usually in a typical Cirque du Soleil show there are primarily solo features, showing death defying trapeze artists and incredibly flexible gymnasts. You can get mesmerized watching a single performer. Love Las Vegas is much more of a group activity. There is so much happening on the stage at all times rarely do you focus on one star. It is a group collection and the focus is the music.
Love Las Vegas shows in the LOVE Theater at the Mirage at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. Thursday through Monday, dark Tuesday and Wednesday. It is approximately 90 minutes long and it is truly one of the best shows in Las Vegas.

Great experience overall but the music and sound was far too loud.
Excellent show and well worth seeing went with a group was mesmerizing and Wonderful to see Beatles Music in this context.
